This section is used to define the failer-over rule as well as the responses message.

Default Fail-over Rule

There are two definitions: System Default and User Defined. The User-defined always has higher priority. If there is no User-Defined, the System Default will be applied. 

Click on Configuration → Default Fail-over Rule → This page will be displayed as below:

Column NameDescription
Egress Return CodeThe code is returned by Egress Trunk. Based on this code to define the Route Type
System Default

The System Default Rule. If there is no User-Defined, this rule will be applied.

Route Type: There are three types

  • Stop: Stop the call
  • Failed to next Host: Move the call to the next host
  • Failed to next Trunk: Move the call to the next trunk

Response: The response message sends to the client.

User Defined

The failed-over rule is defined by the User.

Route Type: There are three types

  • Stop: Stop the call
  • Failed to next Host: Move the call to the next host
  • Failed to next Trunk: Move the call to the next trunk

Response: The response message sends to the client.

Reason: The reason sends to the client.
