Audio samples are placed into data packets for transmission over the IP network Typically, a single packet contains anywhere from 10 to 30 milliseconds of audio.

In this section we can analyse the Packet sent, loss Deeply analyse a single call.

This section is used search SIP Packet.

To go to this section, Go to Tools → SIP Packet Search

Below displayed window will appear.

SIP Packet Search Form will appear,

Field Name

Description

Period

To select the date range period like Today, Yesterday or Custom.

From

To select the starting Date/Time

To

To select the ending Date/Time

Inbound

It helps to search inbound calls which goes into the system.

Customer

Select the Customer from dropdown

Ingress Trunk

Select the Ingress Trunk from dropdown which is associated with customer account.

ANI

The number of the caller

DNIS

The number of receiver

Duration

Time Duration of call to search, i.e. Zero or Non Zero.

Outbound

It helps to search outbound calls which goes out from the system.

Carriers

Select the Vendor from dropdown

Egress

Select the Egress Trunk from dropdown which is associated with vendor account.

ANI

The number of caller

DNIS

The number of Receiver

Fill the parameter you want to search for and click on SUBMIT button to search.

Column Name

Description

Ingress ANI

The Number of the Caller

Ingress DNIS

The Number of the Receiver

Ingress Call ID

The Generated Packet search ID of the Origination. Just click on the ID to generate SIP Packets.

Egress Call ID

The Generated Packet search ID of the Termination. Just click on the ID to generate SIP Packets.

Start Time

The time when SIP Package start being sent

End Time

The time when SIP Package send successfully

To Generate SIP Packet just click on the Ingress Call ID or Egress Call ID, The Generated SIP Packets will be displayed in SIP Request.

SIP Request

This section displays the generated SIP Packets.

Column Name

Description

Request On

The date-time when the SIP Packet was Requested

Complete Time

The date-time when the SIP Packet Request was completed

Call ID

The Generated ID of the call

Requested By

The user who requested SIP Packet Traces

Status

The status of the request i.e. Successful or Failed

Action

The actions to be performed on the record. We will see them below.

This icon is used to download the PCAP File

This icon is used to send PCAP File via Email, Just enter the Email Address manually and click on send button.

This icon is used to copy the PCAP File Link, so that you can paste and search to download the PCAP File.
