Let’s see how to setup the archive configuration step by step.

 

Remote Storage

Here you can select remote storage option as displayed in above picture,

You get two options for storage,

  • FTP Server
  • Google Storage

 How to setup the Remote Storage,

Firstly we will see,

FTP Server

Click on the SUBMIT button to save the FTP Server

Same applies for the SFTP Server too.

Google Storage

For setting up the Google Storage, you have to enter the Google Key.

Storage Duration

Here you can select the duration for storage sync.

As displayed in the picture above,

This option gives flexibility to choose to store data for how much days of CDR’s you want to store and for how much days you want that data to keep stored.

By checking the box you can select the option for selecting duration for CDR & PCAP Storage.

Archive Setting

CDR Archive setting:-

This section allows you to set the storage setting for CDR.

Here we can set both FTP Server & Google Cloud Storage.

This section allows you to set the storage setting for PCAP.

There are different options to set Storage type for PCAP Archival.

  • Local Storage
  • Remote storage via SCP
  • FTP Server
  • Google Drive

 

Local Storage

You can select local storage options like Hard Drive etc

You can select Local Storage in the storage type option,

By entering Local Path you can link system attached local storage device for storing PCAP.

Remote storage via SCP

It is a program for copying files using SSH Protocol.

You can select Google Drive in the storage type option,

By entering Google Drive Key, you can link google drive for PCAP Archival.

CDR

This section is used to setup CDR Archive settings

Go to Configuration → Archive Setting

Column NameDescription
Server NameSelect the Server Name for which you want to setup CDR Archive
Storage TargetSelect the Storage Target for CDR Archive i.e. FTP, SFTP & Google Cloud
BucketEnter the Storage Bucket address here
DirectoryEnter the Storage Directory address here
Service Account JSON FileSelect the Service Account JSON File here
Frequency

Select the Frequency by days of CDR Archive, i.e Compressing Local CDR Files on Archive,

Removing Local Archive Files & Remove Remote Archives.

Archive HourlyCheck this to Archive CDRs on Hourly Frequency
Archive DailyCheck this to Archive CDRs on Daily Frequency

After selecting all the neccessary section, click on Submit to Save the CDR Archive settings.

Now we will see the next option i.e. PCAP

PCAP

This section is used to setup PCAP Archive Settings,

Click on PCAP, Below displayed window will appear

Storage TargetSelect the Storage Target for PCAP Archive i.e. FTP, SFTP & Google Cloud

Frequency

This section is used to setup Daily CDR Archive Settings

Click on Daily CDR, below displayed window will appear

Non Zero CDR OnlySelect this option to Archive only connected calls CDRs.
