This is a vendor account where all the necessary functions related to vendor is done.

Vendor List

This section is used to manage all the vendor account on the system,

To open client’s list click on Termination → Vendor

Below displayed window will appear.

Description

Vendor Name

Name of the Vendor

Company

The company of the Vendor

Balance

Balance of the Vendor

Trunks

Total Egress Trunks assigned to the vendor, Click on this number, the user will be redirected to the Egress Trunk page.

Action

Action performed on the Vendor


Descriptions of buttons which are displayed above on the window,

Button

Description

This button is used to create a new vendor account

This button is used to activate the selected vendor’s account

This button is used to deactivate the selected vendor’s account

This button is used to reset the balance of selected vendor’s account

This button is used to delete selected vendor's account

This button is used to deactivate the account

This button is used to activate the account

This button is used to send the welcome letter to the client

This button is used to reset the balance of the client

This button is used to log in via vendor portal

This button is used to change the password of the vendor account

This button is used to save the vendor’s information as template

This button is used to edit the vendor’s information

This button is used to delete the vendor’s account

This button is used to set the total records per page

This button is used to select the column which will be shown/hidden

This button is used to go to next, previous page It is also used to go to the specific page by clicking on the number of page


Now we will see Vendor’s Search form

Field Name

Search with the name of Vendor

Status

Search by status of the Vendor:

  • All Active Vendors: Display all Vendors having Active Status
  • All Inactive Vendors: Display all Vendors having Inactive Status
  • All Vendors: Displays all the Vendors

Vendor Limit

It is used to set the limits for vendor trunk like Credit Limit, Call Limit & CPS Limit.

This section is used to search for the vendor limit,

Search by the status of the Vendor:

  • All Active: Display all Vendor having Active Status
  • All Inactive: Display all Vendor having Inactive Status

View all trunks that is assigned under vendor

Vendor Name

Limit the total number of call ports for the Vendor

Limit the total number of Call Per Second for the Vendor

Action

Action button to edit the limits

Host

In this section you can view host i.e. IP address of vendor trunks.

Host search box

In this section you can search for Vendor & their trunks host, limits etc.

Click on Host tab, below displayed window will appear

Create New By Template

It can be used to create a vendor in a faster way, values are already saved in it

You can customize the templates and create different templates according to your need, for creating templates for vendor, please refer to Template -> Carrier Template

To create Vendor using template,

Go to Termination → Vendor → Create New → Create New By Template 

How to create a New Vendor

To create a new Vendor, click on Termination -> Vendor

Vendor List page will appear, click on Create New button on the page,

Below displayed window will appear.

You have to start by entering Basic Information’s

Basic Info

As you can see in above displayed window you have to enter basic info with the help of table below

Field Name

Description

Name

You have to enter the name of the vendor

Type

Type of account i.e. by default set as Vendor

Main Email

You have to enter the company email or main email of company here

NOC Email

You have to enter the Network Operation Centre Email here

Status

You can select the status of vendor ie Active/Inactive

Call Limit

You can set the limit of calls of Vendor at a time

CPS Limit

You can set the Call Per Second Limit of Vendor

By entering all the fields, click on NEXT button to proceed to the next section.

Next section is Company Info

Company Info

You have to enter the company information’s here,

Fields

Description

Company Name

Enter the name of company here

Billing Email

Enter the email of company billing department

Rates Email

Enter the email of company rates department

Address

Enter the address of the company’s location

By entering all the fields, click on NEXT button to proceed to the next section.

Next section is Self Service Portal

Self Service Portal

This section is used to configure User Interface Web Portal for Vendor to Login

Here in the portal vendor can login and check reports as given permissions like to view CDR List, Reports etc

Enable the Vendor Portal by checking on the Enable Vendor Portal option,

Field

Username

Set Username for vendor to login to the portal

Password

Set Password for vendor to login to the portal

Permissions

By checking on the different permissions checkbox, Vendor will have access to those sections like CDR’s List, Reports etc as shown in the window displayed above.

By entering all the fields, click on NEXT button to proceed to the next section

Next section is Notification Setting

Notification Setting

By checking on the Enable Notification Box, Vendor will get different notifications.

Check on Enable Notification to receive vendor notifications like vendor reports,

also you can choose whether you want to send the trunk details too.

After filling all the sections with required fields, Click on SUBMIT button to save.

Vendor Account will get created successfully.

Click on Submit & Create Trunk to create Vendor and redirect to New Outbound Trunk page.

Fill out all the neccessary details and click on Submit button to save Outbound Trunk, For more info on Outbound Trunk, Please refer to Trunks.
